Coastal Tī Kōuka Dipped White On Black
This ceramic bowl features a drawing of a Tī Kōuka or Cabbage Tree.
It is an elegant tree unique to New Zealand which is commonly found throughout wetlands, scrubland and along the coast in both the North and South Island.
The leaves had many uses, including being woven in baskets and used medicinally.
Technical Information:
Made from white porcelain, inside semi-gloss clear glaze with decal and unglazed outside.
Size 100mm x 28mm high ˑ each piece comes boxed with an image of the design on the lid.
These pieces feature irregularities in both shape and form; this is part of the
organic nature of the collection.
Food safe, dishwasher & microwave safe.
